6/7/2019 0 Comments We're Moving to Princeton, NJ!This August, we will be relocating our Arizona acupuncture practice to Princeton, New Jersey. Our new home in Central New Jersey is beautifully nestled between New York City and Philadelphia and is known for it's rich history and charm. Why Princeton? This Central New Jersey town is small but mighty, which is an attribute I'm totally on board with. Princeton is driven by a strong sense of community; the town beats to the pulse of pedestrians and gives "charm" a whole new meaning. A strong architectural presence can be seen strolling along Nassau Street in the heart of downtown Princeton. And guess what (this is pretty exciting news coming from the desert...)?! New Jersey has all four seasons! Recreation surrounds the town at every glance, whether you find yourself strolling through the D&R Canal State Park or kayaking on Carnegie Lake. And did I mention it's also an hour drive to the beach? ! Princeton is surely a haven for wellness. Princeton FavoritesSupporting local businesses is extremely important to me not only as a small business owner, but as a member of the community. When you eat and shop locally, you think locally. By enriching your immediate environment through mutual support, a cascade of positive change is more easily accessible to all. It's a win-win! I already have a list of favorite spots in Princeton that you can check out: Olive's- "Good Food, Always". They're not lying! This family owned and operated food market has the best hummus pita wrap. Located in the heart of Downtown Princeton. Small World Coffee- These folks are inspiring connection over coffee while staying true to their core values of hospitality, community, inclusivity, and generosity. My favorite menu item is the "NOLA", a New Orleans style iced coffee. Princeton University Art Museum- Go here, get inspired. Located on the Princeton University campus, it houses over 92,000 works of art ranging from antiquity to the contemporary period. Always free and open to the public. Institute Woods- Tucked behind the Institute for Advanced Study are 589 acres of woods, farmland & wetlands, with serene walking trails and a wooden footbridge. These woods provided a place for contemplation for Institute scholars from Einstein onward. A beautiful place to recharge, practice mindfulness, and connect with nature. Grounds For Sculpture- A short 20 minute drive from Princeton, this outdoor sculpture garden is an impressionist oasis. Here you can walk amongst grandiose sculptural recreations of impressionist paintings, which are thoughtfully dispersed across 42-acres in Hamilton, NJ. Grounds For Sculpture also features rotating exhibitions in 6 indoor galleries. Totally surreal and a must see.
